There s a drawing to go with this...

“Notes on, or reflections on temples of wisdom in public places – monolithic monuments to British justice – the envy of the world: Architectural reflections: Roof is too small, erected too late, by way of ‘shutting a stable door after the horse bolted’; the ‘contents’, ie, the weak signifiers of their absence – or occasional marks indicating some afore-mentioned judicial proceedings in a closed court – are all subject here to a phorensic enquiry. All that is left of their architecture and proceedings (The Files) are now subjected to a belated light of public scrutiny in a somewhat histrionic style – as faux public monuments – or, perhaps, if endorsed, genuine ones-? Nevertheless, they are ephemeral and will not last, the roofs are too small and the drip line of rain and weather will erode the last few insignificant marks of justice which was never seen to be done if done at all…. Temples Of Wisdom: Monolithic Monuments.”
