On How To Give A Thing Up
Taking one real risk is good.
If it means that everything else has to change,
It was probably worth it

Liked teaching Millie to play Dolly
Credit the perspicacity of some
who, whether right or wrong, identified
'The Workshop' as a place to transmit human knowledge and skill
Difficult to know what you've got that anyone else wants
Other than a willingness to learn how to play
and do stuff. So, thanks
(not that some were always right)
Writing itself, by the wayside and light on readers,
Swithers and twires, pulsating for attention.
Small ink blot moments of value bleed across the vision
until blindness is a satisfying quality to behold
in whatever colour you choose.
